Tonight on MNF Cleveland (4-8 SU, 4-8 ATS) host the Rams (9-3 SU, 7-4-1 ATS). The Brown's running game gets worse as William Green's suspension for violating the league's substance-abuse policy was extended. He was originally going to be eligible for tonight's MNF contest, but Butch Davis said ``William has some personal issues right now that he has to address, he's got to take care of these things. When those things are taken care of and resolved, we'll decide exactly what William's future is, but right now it's all premature.''The Browns continue to stumble as we get deeper and deeper in to the regular season. Last week the Seahawks rolled them 34-7, marking it as their fifth loss out of their last season games SU, and they've now scored under 10 points in their last two games. In their last 6 contest the Browns are a dismal 1-5 ATS, with an ATS record in their last 3 MNF games of 0-3. Despite being at home tonight, I don't see the Browns hanging with the Rams, as Cleveland is ranked 29th in offense with a yards per game average of 277.5.
The Rams are a sound club, covering the spread 7 times in their last 10 overall. With Marshall Faulk now playing at 100% and running well, the Rams are the team to beat in the NFC. They enter tonight's contest riding a 4 game win streak, which will soon be 5. Not only is Faulk running well, the Rams QB Mark Bulger is averaging 261.7 per game through the air, second best in the league. Just too much talent with the Rams for a very shakey Cleveland club to handle!
